Biography

Matías O’Farrell joined Columbus Merchant Banking in March, 2005. Since his incorporation as an analyst, Mr. O’Farrell has participated in more than 50 transactions, advising clients such as Village Cinemas, P&G, Ivax Pharmaceuticals, Gafisa, Iplan, Grupo Palmero and Sideco Americana, among others. Mr. O’Farrell has worked in M&A deals, debt restructurings and financial advisory transactions with companies in various industries such as telecommunications, retail, food and beverages, utilities, insurance companies and banks to name a few. He was named Associate in 2007 and is a Vice-President since 2010.

 

Mr. O’Farrell holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de San Andrés. His studies were complemented at the Internationella Handelshögskolan (the Jönköping International Business School) in Jönköping, Sweden during 2003.
